What WWE have found at the minute is that new eras can’t be manufactured. The Roman Reigns experiment failed (for now) and the Network era thus far has been underwhelming.
It is usually a natural process or real life event which changes WWE. Look at how the advent of technology brought about the late 80’s boom with closed circuit and pay per view broadcasting. Look at how the steroid scandal then brought about the New Generation with Hart and Michaels. Look at how the Montreal screwjob ushered in the Attitude Era, and how the struggle for advertisers / improved TV right fees brought about the PG era.
