As the only star on this list to ever headline WrestleMania, Kurt Angle was truly a cornerstone of WWE. In 2006, though, following a period of injury and drug abuse, Angle left the company, with both Angle and WWE claiming the decision was theirs. In any event, Angle stated that WWE didn’t take care of him during times he was injured, and he quickly joined TNA.
