10 Former WWE Superstars Who Will Never Return
9. Mr. Kennedy
There are few grapplers in wrestling history who missed out on stardom as narrowly as Ken “Mr. Kennedy” Anderson. After winning Money in the Bank at WrestleMania XXIII, Kennedy was the most likely contender to capture the World Heavyweight Title from The Undertaker when an injured Phenom needed to drop it. However, Kennedy himself picked up an injury, and so Edge was chosen to take the title. Later that same year, a storyline which would have seen Kennedy assist Vince McMahon in faking his own death was dropped due to the Benoit murder-suicide, and one that would have made him McMahon’s illegitimate son had to be altered when Kennedy was suspended after the signature pharmacy scandal.
